The hubs has the sniffles so I’m staying far, far away from him. The last time he had the sniffles, he swore he wasn’t sick, I ended up sick for a week —fever, congestion, the whole nine yards, while his sniffles went away after a couple days. I’m convinced he passed his cooties to me and I don’t have time for all that this go round, so I’m staying far away.

This Saturday (today)...

Well, this is a funny little story. The guy pretended to be a new general manager sent from corporate, and while the real general manager (who didn’t believe him) was in her office making calls to corporate to figure out who he was, this guy was in the kitchen making himself a cheeseburger and fries….and of course, he needed a drink to wash it all down.

I love nights like these.
We gave each other our space…he watched sports while I downloaded music on my laptop. Then, we gravitated to each other. I laid on his chest and we enjoyed each other. Everything was simple and we laughed and played the entire time. We didn’t talk about money or moving….just laughed and enjoyed one another.

Great Lunch!
I had lunch with my co-worker friend Melissa today at P.F. Chang’s. I paid $9 and was able to enjoy a cup of Egg Drop Soup, crab wantons, and Chang’s Spicy Chicken. Now that it what I call a great meal, at a great price!

Yesterday, I bought a complete queen bed set for $30. I consider that a win!

Babe and I talked yesterday. We decided to keep our original move-in date in late March, instead of moving in at the end of February. I was tripping...hard.
I went to move my car off the meter because I’d run out of change. I only had about 15 minutes to move my car before I had to be back in to cover the office. I figured that gave me plenty of time to run down to the bank and get more quarters. It’s only about six blocks down…just lots of lights in between.

My car is all packed.
There are currently two totes, two bags, and one box in there. I carried them all down the three flights of stairs myself. Yeah, I know it could’ve been knocked out in one trip with my hubs here, but he’s on official military business, plus, I can’t always rely on him, and I need to get used to doing things myself again.

Babe woke up super early this morning to call our new apartment complex and get a couple questions answered. This is a huge feat for him because unless it’s military related, I swear he doesn’t get up before 4 pm (he’s such a bum!)….he could sleep all day if you’d let him.
