Meal prep (breakfast through afternoon snack) complete. Turkey sausage & hard boiled egg whites for breakfast, green apple slices (not shown) for morning snack, baked chicken strips w/ grilled veggies, sweet potato tater tots & mixed veggies for lunch and baby carrots for an afternoon snack. Grilling turkey brats and making salad for dinner. I’m not always 100% on track, but I do my weekly meal preps more often than not. I just rarely post them anymore, but it’s getting simpler each week. 😊 #MYFitnessJourney #healthyeating
So in the absence of food posts, I’ve been working hard (well, at least 89%) to figure out what I want to do with my life. I’m pretty sure I’ve finally figured out a career path that would make me happy. I’ve applied to a Master’s program and awaiting their decision. I’m also figuring out what connections need to be made and figuring out how to do that, with a little help along the way from my career counselor-in-training.
I’m also making some other decisions that affects an even bigger part of my life. Not speaking on it much right now, but those changes are scary and exciting all at the same time. I’m not sure when I’ll reveal what’s going on there, but I’m working at like 89% capacity regarding those goals as well.
And of course, I’m still working on my journey to be healthy. I joined Club Fitness a few days ago and I’m excited to get in there, though I just hate the thought of wearing my scarf in public. At least when I worked out at the gym at work, I was usually the only one down there; there was rarely more than 3 people down there. Anywho, gotta get over it. I do enjoy my at home exercise, but I want to incorporate more weights so that I can build muscle while burning calories. My meal prep is getting simpler by the week. Ha!
Anyway, just a brief catch up. Even though I’m not posting meals really, which I probably should/will start re-doing, I’m still getting the job done.
Greatness is coming soon.
